Our aim is to understand your needs by breaking down your layers, ensuring that the service you require, is as close to perfect as possible which will enable us to capture the very essence of your project.

our creative portrait sessions are priced upon the needs of the client, a minimum shoot will consist of 4 hours and be priced based on the extra’s you require

If you have a film or documentary project that you need a crew for, we are taking bookings now. We ask for time in advance to help with the planning process to ensure that all parties are aligned. Director, Producer and writers are available to bring your idea to life.

Founder / Director / Content CreatorBen is from Manchester, UK and a veteran of China for over 12 years. Competant in Photography, Videography and design, Ben is an allround creative who loves to explore the arts.
Ben says:
I created Layers as a media service because I believe that before every project, there’s a number of layers that we must work through first in being able to understand the clients needs. The deeper we go, the more we can understand the concept and deliver on the expecations of the client.
Ben and Jianan have been a work force for many years and have both developed on similar paths, working with brands and creatives in Shanghai.
